Rosary Prayer Program

The Rosary Prayer Program is offered and facilitated by a group of faithful volunteers in the Diocese that generously give of their time and faith life witness to lead children, youth and families into a deeper relationship with God through prayer. The Rosary Prayer Program is a ministry of prayer which brings together children in schools and members of our parishes in the Diocese who volunteer to pray with the children and lead them in our Marian traditions. The Rosary Prayer Program seeks to lead people to Jesus through Mary by teaching others how to pray with the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

There are three contexts in which the Rosary Prayer Program seeks to encourage people to pray the Rosary:

The Catholic Schools

The Homes of Families

The Catholic Parishes

Each volunteer for the Rosary Prayer Program which aligns with Growing in Faith; Growing in Christ, the Religion program, prays the Rosary with children, youth and families, to encourage them to pray the Rosary daily.

Maria Fitzgerald, Director of the Rosary Prayer Program, leads the Rosary Prayer Program for the Diocese of Peterborough and welcomes new volunteers to assist with this ministry.  Please send an email to Dawn Michie at DawnMichie@peterboroughdiocese.org if you would like to volunteer for this service of prayer.
